The Air plant,

Tillandsia is a genus of epiphytic plants that, with more than 650 species accepted, is the most diverse of the family of Bromeliaceae (to which pineapple also belongs). They are found in the deserts, forests and mountains of Central America, South America, Mexico and in the south of the USA. UU. in North America.

Members of this genus commonly called blue plant are plants that grow linked by roots to trees. Roots serve only as a holding, taking water and nutrients literally from the air, through the leaves.
